Same-day quoting and follow-up for trade businesses
Nobody in the trades is searching for AI training, so the page is not about AI.
The work that eats the week
Every track starts from a task list, not a curriculum. This is the list for trades & field services, with the tool we'd reach for on each one. If three of these are yours, the training has something to work on.
| Task | Tool |
|---|---|
| Getting a quote out the same day as the site visit The single highest-value change available to most trade businesses. Quotes sent same day win more often than quotes sent Thursday. | ChatGPT |
| Following up quotes that went quiet Most trade businesses never follow up at all. Two follow-ups is usually free revenue. | ChatGPT |
| Job notes and variation write-ups Voice note on the drive home becomes a written variation before the invoice. | ChatGPT |
| Reading a spec, plan set or scope document Pricing a job off a document nobody had time to read properly. | Claude |
| Invoices, reminders and chasing payment Awkward to write, easy to defer, expensive to skip. | ChatGPT |
| Review replies, website text and ads Marketing work that never gets done because it's nobody's job. | ChatGPT |
| Safety and compliance paperwork SWMS and job paperwork drafted faster, with the sign-off staying where it belongs. | Claude |
Tool choice here is a starting point, not a rule — see which tool for which job for the reasoning.
Where the line sits
Customer names and addresses can stay out of it entirely. A quote does not need them to be written in four minutes instead of forty.
The boundary we teach
Certification, compliance sign-off and safety determinations stay with the licensed person.
Nobody in the trades is searching for AI training, so the page is not about AI. It is about getting the quote out the same day and following it up, with the tool as the method. Delivered as a done-with-you build on your own jobs, because a classroom is the wrong shape for this.
The family-level rule for trades & field services: Customer names and addresses can stay out of it entirely. A quote does not need them to be written in four minutes instead of forty.
What the training covers
The foundations are the same for every business — roughly seventy per cent of what you need is not industry-specific at all. The order changes, and the examples are all yours.
- Building reusable setups
- Getting output you can actually use
- Working with long documents
- What never goes in
How it's usually delivered
For trades & field services the usual starting shape is Done-with-you workflow build. The assessment confirms it against your own answers rather than assuming.
Who's in the room. Owner is the buyer and usually also the audience. Sometimes one office person.
What you'd have at the end
- A quote written from a voice note on the drive home
- A follow-up sequence that runs whether or not you remember
- One workflow running on real jobs by the end of the engagement
The questions we get asked
I don't have time to sit in a course.
Correct, so there isn't one. We build one workflow with you on your own jobs until it runs, and that's the engagement.
I'm not a computer person.
The whole thing works by talking into your phone. If you can leave a voicemail you can do this.
Won't the quotes sound generic?
They sound like you, because we build them from the quotes you already send. That's most of the work.
Regulatory context
Relevant bodies and frameworks: State licensing authorities, Master Builders, MEA, NECA and equivalent industry associations. Licensing and sign-off obligations are unaffected by how a document was drafted. No claim is made about AI-generated compliance documentation being sufficient.
We name no CPD hour figures anywhere on this site. Requirements differ by body and by state, and an out-of-date number is worse than none.
